kalpa

Yoga DictionaryYoga Dictionary
an immense period of time equal to one thousand ages (Yugas), hence, "ageless," or "immortal." A kalpa is designated as one day of Brahma, said to measure the duration of the world (being one thousand Yugas, or four-thousand-three-hundred-twenty million human years).
