Singularity
A term from mathematics and physics, not from Sanskrit. Math: a point at which mathematical functions are no longer differentiable or analytic. Physics: a region of infinite density, such as a black whole. In the modern scientific creation myth called the "big bang," such a singularity erupted to create the universe as we know it. In Hindu cosmology, this state of the universe as a singularity is known as the "night of Brahman." The currently expressed state of the universe is known as the "day of Brahman." If the entire Universe is indeed manifest from a single pripordial "atom," then according to the rules of Quantum Mechanics that govern "entangled particles," every part of the Universe is capable of immediate influence over any other part, regardless of distance in time or space.
